Keyboard shortcuts

Timers Studio can be driven almost entirely from the keyboard. This page is the reference for every shortcut, grouped by surface. The fastest way to find a shortcut during a show is to press ? inside the Studio — the ShortcutsModal opens with the same list.

Studio

Available while focus is on the Studio (/id/<room>). Typing into a text field suspends these shortcuts — they resume once the field is blurred.

The Agenda is read-only for the audience; the shortcuts below work from the operator’s Studio tab when the Agenda preview is focused.

Global

These work everywhere in the app.

Cmd / Ctrl + KOpen the command palette (where available)
Cmd / Ctrl + SSave the current draft (rundown, agenda, theme)

macOS vs Windows

Shortcuts that use a modifier use Cmd on macOS and Ctrl on Windows/Linux. Everything else is identical across platforms. OBS browser sources forward keyboard input only when the source is the active dock — click once inside the source before using shortcuts.

FAQ

What if a shortcut collides with my browser? Browser shortcuts win when the tab is not focused on an input. If F or Cmd + S does not toggle the Studio action, click once inside the Studio body, then try again.

Are shortcuts localised? No. The product ships with a fixed Latin keymap across all languages. Arabic, Japanese and Chinese UIs use the same keys. This keeps documentation and videos interchangeable.

Can I customise the shortcuts? Not in v17.0.11. Custom bindings are on the backlog but not shipped.
